The MING 57.04 Iris brings technicolour to the wrist in a tasteful way

MING marks its eighth anniversary with the 57.04 Iris, a 100-piece limited edition that debuts the brand’s fifth-generation design language and first destro chronograph. The 40mm stainless steel case stands out with intricate stepped lugs, constructed from nine components for contrasting finishes, inspired by Art Deco architecture. A concave bezel flows seamlessly into these lugs, while the oversized left-hand crown integrates the monopusher for the chronograph. The dial is the true spectacle: a multiphasic, colour-shifting surface that shifts hues with the light, anchored by a matte black chronograph register at six o’clock.

Floating luminous indices are etched into the underside of the crystal, preserving the clean display. Powering the watch is the hand-wound Cal. SW562.M1, developed with Sellita, offering a 60-hour reserve and a distinctive 4N-coated three-quarter plate visible through the sapphire back. Paired with a fluid five-link bracelet or supple goat leather strap, the Iris fuses bold experimentation with refined craftsmanship.
