Introducing the MING 37.02 Monolith – A Stealthy Evolution
MING unveils the 37.02 Monolith, the third and darkest chapter in its 37.02 series. Following the Minimalist and Ghost editions, the Monolith embraces a sleek, stealth-inspired aesthetic and is limited to just 100 pieces per year.
While it shares the same specs as its predecessors, the Monolith stands out with its matte anthracite DLC-coated steel case, which absorbs light for a slimmer, more discreet appearance. The 38mm case, with MING’s iconic pagoda-style lugs, is protected by double-domed sapphire crystals and offers 100m water resistance.
Its sapphire dial shifts between deep black and reflective silver tones, depending on the light. Laser-cut chapter ring channels are filled with MING’s proprietary Polar White lume, personally developed by Ming Thein, and contrasted with blue-glowing Super-LumiNova X1 on the hands. Branding is minimal—just a subtle “MING” at 6 o’clock.
Inside, the Monolith runs on a custom Sellita SW300-1 automatic movement, offering a 45-hour power reserve and decorated with skeletonised anthracite components. The watch comes with a bold mango FKM rubber strap and a black DLC-coated buckle.
Unlike the readily available Minimalist, the Monolith is a rarer offering, reflecting MING’s commitment to craftsmanship and exclusivity.
