Introducing the Ulysse Nardin Blast Free Wheel Maillechort

Introducing the Ulysse Nardin Blast Free Wheel Maillechort

Ulysse Nardin expands its avant-garde Blast Free Wheel collection with a striking new edition crafted in Maillechort – a copper-zinc-nickel alloy known for its warm tone and fine texture. This 45mm white gold timepiece blends sharp, multi-angled case architecture with laser-finished satin and polished surfaces, creating a bold, sculptural aesthetic.

The watch’s highlight is its signature "floating" movement, where components like the gear train, barrels, and tourbillon appear suspended above the dial. The new model features both a dial and caseback plate made of Maillechort, adding a distinct vintage-modern charm. The sapphire “glass box” crystal offers full visibility of the mechanical spectacle inside.

At the heart lies the UN-176 calibre, featuring a double barrel with a 7-day power reserve, a unique disc-based power reserve display, and Ulysse Nardin’s patented flying tourbillon with a silicon constant escapement for consistent precision.

Finished with a blue velvet-touch rubber strap and limited to only 50 pieces, this timepiece is a refined evolution of the Free Wheel design—fusing innovative mechanics with timeless materials.
