The latest release from Hamilton Watch Company revisits its military heritage with the
introduction of the Khaki Field Mechanical 36mm and the Khaki Field Mechanical 250.
Designed with a clear nod to vintage field watches, these models emphasize practicality,
durability, and timeless styling. Inspired by the rare FAPD 5101 navigator’s watch from the
1970s, both editions stay true to the brand’s utilitarian roots while offering a refreshed take
for modern collectors.

The standard 36mm version is created for global availability, while the Khaki Field
Mechanical 250 arrives as a special limited edition celebrating 250 years of American
independence, restricted to 1,776 pieces. Both watches share identical specifications,

including a compact 36mm stainless steel case with a sandblasted matte finish, delivering an
authentic tool-watch aesthetic. With a slim 10.2mm profile and an 18mm lug width, the watch
wears comfortably and stays faithful to its original proportions.
True to its vintage inspiration, Hamilton incorporates details like fixed strap bars and an
acrylic crystal instead of sapphire, giving the watch a softer, more classic appearance. The
dial remains clean and highly legible, featuring a black background, bold white numerals,
and a 24-hour inner scale. Enhanced with Super-LumiNova, visibility is maintained even in
low light conditions, reinforcing its functional design.

Powering both models is the hand-wound H-50 movement, offering an impressive 80-hour
power reserve along with improved resistance to magnetic interference. Paired with a NATO
strap, and an additional leather strap for the limited edition, these watches deliver both
