Introducing the MING 57.04 Phoenix: A Refined Return of the Destro Monopusher Chronograph
MING continues to push the boundaries of contemporary watch design with the introduction of the 57.04 Phoenix, a refined evolution of its distinctive monopusher chronograph. Since its founding in 2017 by Ming Thein, the brand has developed a strong visual identity, consistently blending bold creativity with technical precision.

Following the expressive and highly debated 57.04 Iris, the Phoenix presents a more understated aesthetic while retaining the same architectural depth. The dial now features a sunray-brushed anthracite tone, offering a cleaner and more versatile look. Subtle cutouts reveal glimpses of the underlying multi-phase coating, creating a dynamic interplay of light without overwhelming the design.
The case remains a defining feature, measuring 40mm with intricate, multi-layered lugs inspired by Art Deco styling. Its construction is complex, with multiple components forming a sculptural profile. The left-hand (destro) configuration adds to its uniqueness, with the chronograph function operated via a monopusher integrated into the crown. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, ensuring practicality alongside design innovation.

Powering the watch is the MING Calibre SW562.M1, a modified automatic movement offering chronograph functionality and a 60-hour power reserve.
Limited in production, the 57.04 Phoenix represents a balanced interpretation of MING’s design language—less flamboyant, yet equally compelling for collectors who appreciate modern horology.
