The Watch Lab showcases Christiaan Van Der Klaauw's astronomical watches in mumbai, in association with WatchTime India.
Christiaan van der Klaauw, a Dutch brand established 1974, released its first astronomical watch the same year. Today, helmed by master watchmaker Pim Koeslag, the brand continues to produce astronomical watches in limited numbers - all hand-made timepieces that conform to great design and accuracy. At the 2021 GPHG considered the most prestigious prize in watchmaking, Christiaan van der Klaauw won the Calendar & Astronomy Prize
Recently, WatchTime India, in association with The Watch Lab, showcased Christiaan van der Klaauw most iconic timepieces to the watch enthusiasts, along with new designs. On display were the CVDK Planetarium Dune of Mars, a tribute to the planet Mars and the smallest mechanical planetarium in the world, along with the CVDK Real Moon Joure, the most accurate 3D moon phase in the world; the CVDK Real Moon Tide; CVDK Ariadne, a chronograph, and the youngest addition to the brand, and the Orion Lady Stardust amongst others.
Watch collectors and aficionados made their way to Circle Sixty Nine in Worli, to see the timepieces up close and also know more about the timepieces from Koeslag.
